Tonight, May 13, WTHR Channel 13 will air a story on school bus safety. A portion of the story will focus on our district’s results from the initial bus inspection conducted by the Indiana State Police in March.
During an inspection, an Indiana State Police officer thoroughly checks the inside and out of the bus. Everything, from torn seats, exhaust systems and brakes is checked. There are several reasons why a bus can fail its initial inspection. When a bus failed inspection, our Transportation Department immediately made the necessary repairs, resulting in all of Warren’s buses returning to service on the same day problems were identified.
We can assure our families that all buses currently transporting students are safe and have all been certified by the Indiana State Police.
