Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!

Good evening, we continue to work as a school to finish the year strong. We currently have 30 days remaining in the school year. We are working hard to ensure students are set up for success. Tutoring and Super Saturdays are up and running. Students also should be regularly communicating with teachers about what they need to pass classes and earn credits. Students in grades 9-11th that are requesting early finals/release will need to have their parent or guardian send a formal email request to me directly at mtaylor4@warren.k12.in.us stating the reason for request and dates for early release no later than 2:00pm April 30th. Please note that approval of request is at the discretion of administration. If early finals are approved the student will be notified via email and it will be the students responsibility to get with teachers to schedule finals. Due to seniors already being released early on May 16th if they have met all graduation requirements we will not be approving seniors for additional early release/early finals unless it is due to early enrollment or enlistment obligations. Please check out our Sunday school newsletter for more information.

With only 30 days remaining in the year attendance continues to be a top priority. Please ensure that students are at school daily and on-time. I also encourage you to be checking your student's progress in class and reaching out directly to classroom teachers with questions or concerns. Friendly reminder that we take the average of the nine-weeks grades to determine if a credit is awarded. Speak with your student about where they are and what they need help with. You can always access your students' grades and progress through ParentVue.

Finally, there are lots of ways we are celebrating our students as we close out the school year. Please pay close attention to our school newsletters as well and emails discussing upcoming programs. We look forward to celebrating our Top 30 students for grades 9-12th, Signing Day for the Class of 2025, and recognizing our Freshman Learning Center students for all their successes. Again, stay updated on all the happenings by visiting our school website, reading our school newsletters, and regularly checking your email.

Thanks for all you do to support us in supporting our students.

Have a great evening!
